Pixelgypsy

When I moved to the Desert I kept having my new friends ask me to help them with their computers. I even answered an ad from someone who needed help with his first computer.

I decided to see if there was as much need for someone like me to help new computer users as I thought by starting this tutoring web site 

The name pixelgypsy I invented since I have moved so much and love photography.  I guess you could call me a digital gypsy.

I worked as a professional photographer when my children were young, since the hours allowed me to stay home with them a lot.

Experienced Computer Tutor

I tutored for North Seattle Community in the Library. I have enjoyed the self-motivated adult students at the community very much.

I also tutored English as a second language at North Seattle Community College. They have a great home stay program for high school students from Japan and China. 

Now I am volunteering at the Palm Desert Public Library on Monday and Tuesdays at 10:00 am tutoring small groups learning abpout beginning computers and email, and Beginning Digital Photography.

Who I Am

I am a former insurance agent re-located to Palm Desert when we retired. I am semi-retired since I have come out of retirement to tutor my new neighbors on their computers.

I raised 2 daughters and they are moved out and on their own.
